When shooting pictures of strangers I happened to see someone I photographed 3 years ago. I ran over to talk to him, and we had a wonderful conversation about his life.
“Oh you’re the guy!” “Look at me now I’m not on that level. I have a screenshot I look at it everyday and I never want to back to that level”
“I look cleaner now! I look way cleaner now!”

I loved his story and what his struggle represents for himself and how I could be a small part of his huge journey. The interaction made me so happy and I couldn’t wait to share it with more people that could benefit from seeing it.

It’s weird, cause that day I was tired and didn’t want to go shoot and then someone messaged me that I should go out with them to shoot. I got myself up and for the second time went to Hollywood beach because that’s where they live. If I had not gone I had not been able to meet Six again. He only came back to Florida for a weekend and lives in New York now.
Hope to meet him again and see what the future holds for him.
