Photo sessions in Wynwood
Because Wynwood is so close, it is the easiest way to add an outdoor look to a studio session: we shoot the close-ups in the studio, then walk the street murals for full-length and candid photos.
Spots that work on camera
- Mural-covered walls along NW 2nd Ave and the side streets around it (the Wynwood Walls museum itself is ticketed, so we use the public streets)
- Plain painted walls and garage doors for a cleaner background
- Café and shop fronts for casual, everyday photos
Light and timing
Weekday mornings are quieter, with fewer people walking through the frame. Late afternoon gives warm light on the east-facing walls.
Sessions that fit Wynwood
Wynwood works well for dating profile photos, social media photos, artist and music photos and fashion shoots. Close-up headshots and the first photo of a dating profile are often best in the studio at 1145 NW 28th St, about 5 minutes away by car without heavy traffic.
